Activities:

1. Production
• Production of concrete cobblestone, pavements and road edges for formation of pavement, street, road, square, parking lot, fuel station decking for vehicles and pedestrians.
• Full mechanization, starting from preparation of concrete to loading of the production on transport racks, strapping it with a metallic tape. The production is sent on wooden racks (1 x 1,2 m) in packets weighing 1,8 t. The transport racks must be returned to the producer. The transportation services for delivery of the production with unloading of the production.

• concrete cobblestone of 4 types: rectangular, Uni Coloc, Nostalith, Antik;
• pavement edges BR 100.20.8;
• pavement edges BR 100.30.15;
• inclined pavement edges BR 80.30.15 - R=3m, BR 80.30.15 - R=5m;
• lowered edges for driveways BR 100.22.15;
• water channels for streets;

The articles are produced with a painted surface layer (8 mm): black, red, brown, green, yellow, blue, orange and mixed.


2. Construction of Streets, Roads and Squares with concrete cobblestone
• In the beginning of its activities the company practiced only production, but already in the 2nd part of 1993 it started decking construction works.
During the 15 years of operations, it has accumulated experience in production and street construction.
• In 2007 ~ 35 000 m² cobblestone decking was constructed. For execution of the work we use the cobblestone deck equipment supplied by the German companies "Optima" and "Probst" and the chip decking equipment produced by the company "Streck" and other special street construction technologies.

The guarantee period of the production of SIA "VENTBETONS", provided that the construction technologies have been observed, is 5 years and there is a 5 year guarantee for the finished work.


3. Street construction
   Various special equipment for street construction, incl. two special cars for decking of the cobblestone (PROBST, OPTIMA), and chip decking equipment (STRECK).

1. A new formation equipment RH 1000-2 VA was in 2005:
• the most modern manufacture production technology;
• capacity increase;
• significantly higher quality of products;
New production technologies for colourful (with a mixed colour range) products


2. In the 1st quarter of 2006 a new mechanized concrete unit, produced by the German company „SCHLOSSER-PFEIFFER”, will be introduced.


3. Covering of the manufactures with polyethylene coat, using automatic equipment produced by the German company „Ciklop”.

Start of the new work season 2008, by raising company’s flag.

The production of the company is mainly constructed in objects of Ventspils, but our production is constructed all over the country, from Aglona to Ainaži and from Valmiera to Saldus.
95% of all cobblestones decking in Ventspils are produced by SIA "Ventbetons".
The company delivers the production with its transportation and unloads the production in the object of the customer, if the customer wishes so.

Delivery of the production:

~ 65-70% Ventspils region;

~ 10-15% Rīga region;

~ 10-15% other.

• The only company in Latvia that produces products with a structured rough surface, processing the surface of cobblestone and edges with a special equipment.
• The only producer of mixed colour range of the customers (the usual set: black+red+yellow+green).
• The only company using also white cement in production of its products (brighter colours for cobblestone).

"Ventbetons" Ltd. is a licensed production and construction company. In 2001 we received a quality management certificate, verifying that the quality management system of the company is evaluated and recognized as corresponding to the requirements of the management system standard ISO 9001:2000.
The company was repeatedly certified on January 17, 2008, when a certificate verifying that the quality management system of the company corresponds to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
The production is certified in the certification center of Latvian Academy of Sciences (LZA SC).

Planking of concrete cobblestone, upon observance of the requirements of preparation of the foundation and decking technology, serves at least 15 – 20 years and corresponds to requirements of the respective standards LVS EN 1338 and LVS EN 1340:

• Freeze-melt resistance – 3D class;
• Abrasive resistance – 1st class;
• Fissile resistance - > 3.6 MPa;
• Disruption load - > 250 N/mm;
• Flexural strength (edges) – 2nd class.
